The Western Education and Training Cluster delivers a range of training opportunities
to members of its collaborating agencies. Our approach is multilayered and focused on workforce development.

Industry-Based Workforce development Projects

In 2009, the Western Cluster trialed Industry Based Workforce Development Projects.
These projects focus on targeted topics, and are aligned with workforce priorities,
service planning and strategic directions.

2009 Projects include:

  • Living Well: A model for promoting dual diagnosis capability (Bendigo Health, Mental Health)
  •  Advanced Suicide Assessment Program (Bendigo Health, Mental Health)

  • Developing Critical Reflection Supervision Skills for OT & SW
    (Intermediate & Advanced Modules)

Occupational Therapy:

  • Mercy Health Vocational Rehabilitation Annual Forum
    (Intermediate)
  • Sensory Modulation (Intermediate)
  • Occupational Therapy – Grade 2 Forum
  • Driver Assessment Education Workshop (Intermediate)
